Multiflight has supplied the charity with three Dauphin Eurocopter AS 365 helicopters and operates a contract to manage crew and maintain the helicopters for the Great North Ambulance Service at all locations.
On average an emergency air ambulance takes off every 20 minutes in the UK, flying 365 days a year.
